Welcome and thanks for using our Tech Bytes template. You’ve done a great job on the banner. What font is that? I quite like it!
A heads up that if you are still running WP 2.0.7, you might want to apply a patch, which you can read about here:
http://www.stevensmedia.com/blog/?p=115
It fixes a security hole so best to do it as soon as you can! If you are running 2.1, well you have your own set of problems, but fortunately, this isn’t one of them.

Thanks Joni, I am glad you liked what I did with the banner, and that was me e-mailing your regarding the banner from from the first Tech-Bytes template, having had a preference for the images in that banner as opposed to the Reloaded version. For now, I too am quite happy with my new banner
WordPress 2.1 is installed, only took a few moments from within my accounts cpanel!
The font I use in the banner is called James Fajardo.

Hi, Richard, I do need to hunt down that original banner; that was created two desktop computers ago! I have it in archive somewhere no doubt. I’ll give you a heads up when I locate it.
A plugin you might enjoy using on this blog if you plan to review hardware, software, books gadgets and the like is called Structured Blogging. You can find it here (don’t know if it’s been tested for 2.1 yet tho):

Thanks for your comment. I’m thinking it’s almost time to go to a three column template, but I’m not ready for that yet, I like the banner that I’ve got now, and changes I tend to procrastinate over
Structured Blogging doesn’t appear to be maintained any more, graphics are not visible, blog not accessible etc… I liked the idea though, but could be that it’s not WP 2.1 ready! I’ll check some of the other sites using this plugin.
